The JBL Marine Black Box system reduces the potential problem of water damage to your marine stereo by providing a box that functions as the brain that is a separate unit from the face plate. Entire system is placed in a durable rust-proof and splash-resistant housing to make certain that it can't be damaged by water. Instead of including a CD player as standard equipment with this unit, we feature aux-in so that users can bring along an MP3 player or a variety of other types of portable media (faceplate required MC-19, MC-18, or REM-45).
