Eternal Boating Forever Forum is a place where anyone who loves to be on the water can come and discuss many different topics about boating and watersports. EternalBoating.com welcomes new members who have events and stories to share. The Eternal Staff started this forum so boat enthusiasts can relax and talk with other members, as well as the Eternal Staff, about any boating or watersport topic that interest them. We also encourage members to share their boating stories and experiences. We would like to keep this area welcoming, civil, and polite. EternalBoating.com and EternalWakeboarding.com promote having fun, but please maintain a safe boat and be careful out on the water.

Guidelines:
1 - Refusal to obey these guidelines, will result in the appropriate responsive actions.

2 - The First post of a topic MAY NOT be used to advertise or promote a product, company, internet site, sale, individual, or service. If you wish to promote your product or internet site, please contact Eternal Boating for rates/permission. Forum posts, classified ads, or personal pages that advertise or promote one of the items listed above will be removed. Sites that reference a project or contain pictures/diagrams, etc. that can help with promoting boating safety, projects or repairs are allowed e.g., "Photobucket".

This policy is necessary to keep Eternal Boating free of non Eternal Boating sanctioned promotional material.

3 - Do not post your identifying information (business name, address, email address, etc.) in any of the boards. This includes Company names, addresses, phone numbers, links to your business websites, etc as part of your screen name or signature line.

4 - Free speech is not an excuse for irresponsible behavior. We will be fair and provide warnings in most cases.

5 - PERSONAL ATTACKS - Please DO NOT slander another member (calling names, personal attacks). It is ok to respectfully disagree with a person, but it is not ok to personally attack. Any person placing offensive, obscene, abusive or derogatory posts on the board will be dealt with appropriately.

6 - THREAD ALTERCATIONS - We understand that differences of opinion will occur from time to time. It is not the responsibility of the Eternal Staff to settle disputes between members.
Threads that generate into fights between posters will be locked and depending upon the nature may also be deleted. Upon request, the original poster will be informed of the reason.

7 - TARGETING OTHER MESSAGE BOARDS - Please do not post your anger at other message boards by naming them. A moderator will delete these types of posts with no warning.

8 - LANGUAGE - Please watch your language. Profanity is NOT permitted. Language or other material that goes beyond the bounds of good taste may be edited or deleted at the sole discretion of the Eternal Staff. Pictures, or links to, pictures of adult nature will not be permitted.

9 - COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT - Please give proper credit to the authors of original material, whether it be to or from this website. It is copyright infringement and breach of confidentiality if posts are copied to another board. If you wish to show a post from here on another board then a link should be provided.

10- Spam - Spam will not be permitted. If this occurs it WILL result in the immediate removal of that member.

11 - Soliciting - Solicitation of members for the purpose of buying, selling, trading, or donating is not allowed in the forums.

Penalties:

If a Moderator thinks a post is in violation (s)he will temporarily delete the post. Moderators will confer on the post and:
* Restore the post without penalty.
* Issue and explain a warning (Probation) for a set period.
* Issue and explain a suspension of the poster for a set period.
* Ban the poster permanently and explain the reason.

Violations while under warning will result in suspension or ban.

Again, if action taken is mistaken, the poster involved may email the Eternal Staff directly. Any person placing offensive, obscene, abusive or derogatory posts on the board or sending them to board members in PM or email form will be automatically banned.
