Since the Atlas Jack Plate comes pre drilled with mounting holes, the ladder can easily be attached to the Atlas Jack Plate on the port side. The second option is to mount the twist and step emergency boarding ladder to the outside of the engine with mounting bolts on the port side. This option is the most common way people mount the transom jack ladder. This Transom Jack Emergency Boarding Ladder comes with all required hardware for installation.
