The MBB219 solves the potential problem of your boat's stereo getting wet and shorting out. The entire system is designed to endure the harshest marine environment season after season and keep on delivery that crisp clean sound you want. A waterproof faceplate as well as a separate box, functioning as the “brain” of the unit, that can be placed anywhere! This allows you to install the black box in a water-protected area to eliminate the potential problem of water intrusion. Because the faceplate is separate there is little to no depth restrictions! The MBB219 has no CD mechanism. Instead, it’s equipped with a Aux-in to plug in either an MP3 player or a variety of other types of portable media.
